Ten years fronting Magazin, then two decades building one of the most successful solo careers in the region. On October 10th, Jelena Rozga brings all of it to Flinsch Events Club Frankfurt.
Jelena Rozga has effectively lived two full careers, and both of them produced hits people still know by heart. She joined Magazin in 1996 as their lead singer and spent ten years there, recording five albums and singles like "Ginem", "Minut' srca tvog" and "Minus i plus" that became permanent fixtures across the former Yugoslavia. Most singers would have settled comfortably into that legacy. She left in 2006 and started over.
The solo debut "Oprosti Mala" went straight to number one on the Croatian albums chart and earned gold certification, which answered any lingering questions about whether she could carry a project on her own. "Bižuterija" followed in 2011, then "Moderna žena", both gold, both generating singles that dominated regional radio for months at a time. The run has never really stopped. "Ljubi me" landed in 2026 and went straight into the top three.
What holds the whole thing together is the voice and the phrasing. Rozga sings with a Dalmatian warmth that cuts through even the most heavily produced arrangements, and she has an instinct for which songs suit her. The long collaboration with Tonči and Vjekoslava Huljić gave her material that plays to exactly those strengths, which is why her catalogue holds up so well across such different eras of production.
Live, she is a genuine showwoman. There is real stagecraft in how she paces an evening, when to let a ballad breathe and when to push the room into the louder material. Her concerts are known for the energy exchange with the crowd, and the singing along tends to get loud enough to compete with the PA.
Flinsch Events Club Frankfurt has spent more than twenty years hosting artists at this level, and the room suits her well. Close enough that nothing gets lost, with the production to do justice to a proper live set.
For Frankfurt's Croatian community and the wider Balkan audience across the Rhine-Main region, this is one of the bigger names to come through this year.
