KIRBY

On November 14, 2026, Flinsch Events Club Frankfurt welcomes a DJ whose creative mashups and unexpected musical combinations are attracting growing attention: KIRBY, whose real name is Boris Aleksić. His Instagram videos are capturing the interest of music lovers with surprising transitions between familiar songs, showing just how much creativity can fit into a single mix. Now, the sound that has been drawing attention online comes to life on the dancefloor.

KIRBY has developed a distinctive musical style that goes beyond simply playing popular tracks. By bringing together different genres, melodies and rhythms, he creates combinations that feel familiar and completely new at the same time. His mashups of beloved Ex-Yu classics, international dance hits and modern house beats have become an important part of his musical identity. Songs that listeners have known for years suddenly take on a different character when combined with unexpected rhythms or melodies. A familiar chorus meets a completely different beat, a well-known track develops a surprising new energy, and two songs that seem unrelated become part of the same musical experience.

Behind these creative ideas is Boris Aleksić, a DJ with a passion for music and a particular talent for discovering connections between different sounds. His performances and DJ videos demonstrate an approach built around musical imagination, timing and the ability to make familiar tracks feel exciting again. This creativity is also what makes his Instagram content so engaging, introducing his music to listeners who may not yet have experienced one of his live performances.

His musical selection brings together influences from different generations and genres. From recognisable Balkan melodies and international club classics to contemporary dance music and Afro house, KIRBY creates a sound that is difficult to place within a single category. Rather than separating traditional favourites from modern club music, he finds ways to connect them naturally. The result is a musical experience that combines nostalgia, surprise and the energy of a contemporary DJ set.

What makes his approach particularly interesting is its broad appeal. You do not need to be familiar with every Ex-Yu classic to enjoy his music, just as you do not need to follow a particular club genre to appreciate a clever remix. KIRBY’s sets are about discovering unexpected connections, recognising familiar melodies and enjoying the moment when everything comes together.

On Saturday, November 14, 2026, KIRBY brings this distinctive musical approach to Flinsch Events Club Frankfurt. Expect an evening filled with creative remixes, surprising transitions and a varied selection of music that keeps introducing something new. Whether you already follow his videos on Instagram or are discovering his sound for the first time, this is your opportunity to experience the DJ behind the mashups live.
